In summer 2017 SYFY launched a major network rebrand, of which I oversaw the digital component. At the center was a comprehensive site redesign that merged SYFY WIRE (formerly Blastr) and the network site under one URL, with WIRE’s news coverage now the focus. I collaborated with Work & Co on a blog-format design that prioritized easy chronological navigation with the ability to filter by top-level category, as well as custom format-specific interfaces to best serve an increasing volume of editorial, audio and video content. We incorporated behavioral insight, updating search and creating numerous multifunctional promotional tools to allow users to find the content most relevant to them with minimum friction.
